TRAININGS ON VOCATIONAL SKILLS
Providing TVET Technical vocational Education and training to vulnerable teen mothers, attending the 78 teen mothers supported by Kabarondo Ngwino Mwana, continues to be at the heart of our work in Rwanda. We partner with local TVET schools, INGOs and communities to deliver educational opportunities and build capacity because we believe that a quality education is a catalyst for real and lasting change to these young mothers who drop out because of the discrimination they receive from their families, classmates, teachers and the community at large.
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
Many young children in the communities do not have access to education because of the economic state of their home. Because of this, many children fall behind and are never able to finish their education.
We are planning to open an Early Childhood Development Center that targets children aged 5-10 who are out of school especially the ones from teen mothers. We are going to offer basic Mathematics, English and writing classes to help students continue learning as their parents work to get them back into school. These classes will be offered at a very subsidized rate so that access is open to every child who made need our services.
